Kareena Kapoor Khan chills with Taimur, manages to catch a break with hubby Saif Ali Khan while promoting Veere Di Wedding

[ad_1]

Kareena Kapoor Khan has been running from pillar to post promoting Veere Di Wedding with co-stars Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania. Looks like she does not want to leave any stone unturned to make sure that her comeback vehicle is smash hit. Aside from this, she also is engaged with shooting for brand endorsement deals and other professional commitments. There is no stopping to her when it comes to jugging work and family like a pro, which is very inspiring to all moms to be! Yesterday while she was busy with promotional activities and shooting for some advertisement, she caught a break and chilled with both: hubby Saif Ali Khan and doting son Taimur Ali Khan in the city!

If Kareena is not at home, she makes sure that Taimur visits her on sets. Yesterday, as soon as she finished promoting her film, hubby Saif dropped by her sets and she is seen conversing him on the sets. He was not alone! Taimur had accompanied him and Bebo’s joy knew no bounds. Also, see the happy trooper Taimur walking away merrily holding both his parents hands! This sure is a Kodak moment! He looks genuinely pleased in the company of his mom and dad.

Kareena spoke about the challenges of raising Taimur, being a working mother and revealed that she could not have done that without the support of her hubby Saif who also is juggling his acting career while maintaining a work-life balance. He is currently shooting and hence Bebo will take a break till November until she signs her next film.

Escape Plan 2 Trailer Has Stallone on a New Break Out Mission

[ad_1]

At long last, the Escape Plan 2 trailer is here. Plans have been in the works for a sequel to the Sylvester Stallone 2013 team-up with his pal Arnold Schwarzenegger for a long time, but it took awhile for them to actually materialize. We hadn't heard any updates on the project for some time, but now Lionsgate has unleashed the trailer for the probably unnecessary but possibly very fun sequel. If you're at all interested in sitting down for a sequel to Escape Plan, this trailer is probably going to make you very happy as it's action-packed, totally ridiculous and full of cheesy one-liners. There is a particularly wonderful/terrible one right at the end.

The idea here is a bit different than the first Escape Plan. This time around, Sly's character appears to be more in control of the situation and is on a rescue mission. This prison is also quite a bit different, as a very shady looking dude who runs the prison uses the baddest of the bad to fight one another. Things escalate quickly after Stallone's team breaks in. Lots of bullets. Lots of punching. Lots of weird masks. If Escape Plan 2: Hades can pack in a twist halfway through like the first movie did, this might be a very fun Redbox, Netflix or VOD rental night with some friends and a few drinks.

In Escape Plan 2, Years after he fought his way out of an inescapable prison, Ray Breslin (Sylvester Stallone) has organized a new top-notch security force. But when one of his team members goes missing, Breslin must return to the hell he once escaped from to save his friend from the prison's brutal human battleground known as Hades.

The movie comes from director Steven C. Miller, whose previous credits include First Kill, Arsenal and Extraction. Even if you haven't heard of those movies, it seems like they fit into the same corner of cinema that Escape Plan 2 might occupy. Miles Chapman, who penned the first installment and the already in the works Escape Plan 3, wrote the screenplay. The movie stars a powerful ensemble that includes Sylvester Stallone, Dave Bautista, Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson, Xiaoming Huang, Jesse Metcalfe, Jamie King and Alphonso A'Qen-Aten Jackson. It's a shame we had to lose Schwarzenegger, but we get Drax and 50 Cent in exchange. That could work.

Lionsgate is releasing the sequel on June 29. Unfortunately for those of you who have been counting down the days, it looks like this is going to be a purely Blu-ray/DVD and VOD release, but maybe it will get some limited time on the big screen. Perhaps seeing it at home is for the best, as this seems like the kind of movie you may want to yell at a few times while watching it. Be sure to check out the first trailer for Escape Plan 2: Hades, courtesy of the Lionsgate Movies YouTube channel, for yourself below.

Papillon Trailer Has Charlie Hunnam & Rami Malek Planning a Prison Break

[ad_1]

45 years after the original movie hit theaters, Bleecker Street has released the first trailer for their remake of the 1973 classic Papillon. Charlie Hunnam and Rami Malek star as Henri "Papillon" Charriere and Louis Dega, respectively, roles that were originally played by Steve McQueen and Dustin Hoffman in this film based on an incredible true story. It will be interesting to see how fans react to this film, especially since there have been some who have questioned the validity of Henri "Papillon" Charriere's "true" story.

The original autobiographical novel Papillon was first published in France in 1969, by Henri Charriere, recounting his harrowing experience of being incarcerated for a murder he didn't commit in French Guyana in a 14-year period between 1931 and 1945. The book was a huge hit in France, spending 21 straight weeks as the number one bestseller, before it was translated into English by Patrick O'Brian and published for English readers in 1970. Charriere, who was nicknamed Papillon, the French word for butterfly, because of a butterfly tattoo on his chest, always maintained that the story he told in the book was true, but there are some who have claimed otherwise.

Charriere claimed all the way up into his death in 1973, the same year the original Papillon movie was released, that the story he wrote in his book was true, but the story's authenticity was challenged by a French journalist named Gerard de Villiers in his book Papillon Epingle (Butterfly Pinned), who claimed that roughly only 10% of Charriere's incredible story laid out in the book was actually true. Villiers claimed that there were a lot of similarities between Charriere's book and a 1938 book called Dry Guillotine by Rene Belbenoit, which recounts his incarceration and escape from a French penal colony on French Guyana. The Papillon publisher Robert Laffont admitted in an interview before his death that Charriere presented Papillon as a novel, but he suggested that it should be released as an autobiographical novel.

Regardless of whether or not Papillon is a true story or not, the original film was considered by many to be a classic, with Franklin J. Schaffner (Patton, Planet of the Apes) directing from an adapted screenplay by Dalton Trumbo (Spartacus) and Lorenzo Semple Jr. (Three Days of the Condor, The Parallax View). The remake is directed by Michael Noer (R) from a script by Aaron Guzikowski (Prisoners), with a supporting cast that includes Tommy Flanagan Eve Hewson and Roland Moller.

Bleecker Street has issued an August 24 release date for Papillon, which puts it up against Sony's Slender Man, Entertainment Studios' Repicas and STX Entertainment's A.X.L. in wide release. Papillon is expected to debut in limited release on August 24 although there is no indication of whether or not it will expand nationwide in the following weeks and months. It's possible that this could be a late summer hit that will draw in fans of the original film and fans of new stars Charlie Hunnam and Rami Malek. Take a look at the new trailer below, courtesy of Bleecker Street YouTube.
