Raazi is the story of Sehmat, a young and innocent college-going girl from India. Sehmat Khan’s (Alia Bhatt) father, Hidayat Khan (Rajit Kapur), works as a secret service agent for the Indian government. He is friends with Pakistan’s Brigadier Syed (Shishir Sharma). When Hidayat learns that he has only a few days left to live because of a tumour detected in his lungs, he asks his daughter to carry on with his work of a secret service agent. Towards this end, he fixes Sehmat’s marriage to Brigadier Syed’s son, Iqbal Syed (Vicky Kaushal). Before the nikaah, Sehmat is trained by Khalid Mir (Jaideep Ahlawat) so that she could become adept at all things a spy ought to know, like code language, transmitting information, self-defence etc.

Sehmat goes to Pakistan not just as Iqbal’s wife and Brigadier Syed’s daugther-in-law but also as an Indian spy. While the Syed family thinks, she is a simple and dutiful wife; she is actually passing on incriminating information – that too, from right under the noses of her husband and in-laws. This information proves that Brigadier Syed and other Pakistani army men are planning to attack India. However, Abdul (Arif Zakaria), an Indian by birth, works in the Syed household in Pakistan. He seems to not be very fond of Sehmat.

Sehmat often goes to the market place where she connects with Indian spies who are under cover. Slowly, Sehmat has to resort to the ultimate for her safety – and this includes trying to murder Abdul, the loyal house help of the Syeds, and Brigadier Syed’s older son, Mehboob (Ashwath Bhatt). And then, the Pakistan government gets information that secret messages had been transmitted to India from the Syed residence. The Pakistan government wants to trace the culprit in the Syed household. So, is Sehmat now safe in her marital home in Pakistan? Will her husband find out the truth about her? Will Sehmat’s father-in-law get her arrested? Will the Indian government save her? Or will Sehmat die in Pakistan?

Danish Walia and Shiuli Iyer work in a plush five star as Interns along with Ishani and Manjeet but Dan and Shiuli aren’t best of friends. Dan’s character is presented as arrogant who often argues with his seniors and even the guests. An accident on the night of New Years’ Eve leads Shiuli going into coma. While her other friends pay her visit and support, they eventually move on. But Dan is unable to do so. He later comes to know that her Shiuli’s last sentence before falling was ‘Where Is Dan’. These words somehow make him feel responsible for the accident. And he continues to pay a visit to the hospital thereby befriending other family members of Shiuli. But the doctors clearly state that her chances of survival are slim and they advise to pull the plug. But Dan is against it. Will he able to stop them and Shiuli’s family from doing so?

Raid is based on a true story, is about an honest income-tax officer and his most challenging raid. Amay Patnaik (Ajay Devgn) is an income-tax officer with cent per cent integrity. He doesn’t accept bribes and even refuses to accept gifts as, according to him, a gift by a member of the public to a government servant like him is akin to a bribe. Amay has just recently been posted in Lucknow and the year is 1981. He and wife Malini (Ileana D’cruz) have moved in into their modest house and have just about settled there.

One day, Amay receives a phone call from an unknown caller who informs him about black money in the local MP, Rameshwar Singh’s (Saurabh Shukla) house. Rameshwar Singh wields so much power that the people of Lucknow call him Tauji and almost worship him. Amay does his homework and, after being convinced about the tip-off that the informer has given him, raids the house of Tauji following authorisation by the D.I. Commissioner (Udayvir Singh). Amay, his team of assistants and a number of police officers reach Tauji’s mansion and, much to the shock of Tauji and his large extended family, begin the raid after completing the formalities and explaining the family members the rules to be followed by themselves (income-tax department officers) and by the family members. Tauji and his family members try their level best to browbeat Amay and drive him away by threatening him of dire consequences but Amay doesn’t budge.

After many hours of search, Amay and his team get nothing of the Rs. 420 crore of black money believed to be hidden in the house and other places. Just as it begins to appear that Amay’s mission was going to yield nothing and that Tauji would, therefore, seek revenge by ruining his career, Amay tastes some success. He then starts getting more and more lucky as he unearths more and more black money, gold bars, items of jewellery and other riches from the most unlikely places in the mansion.

The raid continues over a few days and Amay finally unearths the entire estimated amount of unaccounted wealth. Somehow, Tauji gets the feeling that it is a member of his own family who has spilled the beans and thereby aided Amay. Tauji being Tauji, he uses all the contacts at his command to stop the raid. He even offers to pay Amay huge amounts by way of bribe. When nothing works, Tauji attacks Amay’s wife, Malini. As a last resort, Tauji musters the support of the people of Lucknow, who are his blind supporters. These supporters come to Tauji’s mansion in large numbers, armed with weapons, to prevent Amay and his team from taking the seized amount of wealth to the government treasury. It is now the question of Amay’s duty versus the lives of Amay and his team mates.

What happens thereafter? Does Amay succeed in his mission? Does he survive the raid? Are his team members and he himself able to escape from the mansion? Is the seized amount deposited in the government treasury? Who was the informer? Was there a member of Tauji’s family, who had leaked information to Amay while the raid was underway?

Blackmail as the title suggests, is a film about blackmailing. Dev Kaushal (Irrfan Khan) lives with his wife, Reena (Kirti Kulhari), and works in DK’s (Omi Vaidya) company which manufactures toilet paper rolls. Invariably, Dev sits till late in the office, playing video games if there’s no work. He always informs his wife, via a message on the mobile phone, before leaving the office for home. However, one day, Dev reaches home much ahead of his usual time, that too, without sending Reena a text message. He is shocked to find wife Reena in bed with another man (Arunoday Singh).

Dev finds out that his wife’s lover is Ranjit Arora who is the husband of Dolly Verma (Divya Dutta). Rather than confront Ranjit Arora or Reena, Dev starts blackmailing Ranjit. He buys a new cell phone and sends Ranjit a text message, demanding extortion money, threatening to spill the beans of his extra-marital affair before his wife, Dolly Verma. Dev does this as he is in need of money to meet his monthly expenses. Ranjit has no option but to oblige. And this demand for extortion money continues.

Soon, Reena also gets a similar blackmail message. She has no option but to take money from husband Dev to pay the blackmailer. Of course, she lies to Dev that she needs the money for the medical tests and surgery of her ailing father. After the first payment, the blackmailer’s extortion messages continue.

In a weaker moment, Dev confides in his colleague, Anand Tripathi (Pradhuman Singh Mall), and tells him how he had been blackmailing his wife’s paramour. In a drunken state, Anand tells colleague Prabha (Anuja Sathe) on a date, how her boss, Dev Kaushal, was blackmailing his own wife’s lover. Cunning and opportunistic as she is, Prabha now starts blackmailing Dev, threatening to spill the beans about his blackmailing tactics to his wife, Reena.

A stage comes when Ranjit Arora hires the services of a private detective, Chawla (Gajraj Rao), to pin down his blackmailer. The blackmailing drama also soon becomes a police case as it gets very complicated.

What happens thereafter? How does the blackmail drama stop?

Dil Juunglee follows the love story of Sumit Uppal (Saqib Saleem) a gym trainer who aspires to be a film actor and Koroli Nair (Taapsee Pannu) an English teacher. In a freak accident, Koroli falls into a lake but Sumit is unable to save her from drowning because of his fear of water. Even otherwise, Koroli and her two friends realise that Sumit is very self-centred. Despite that, Koroli agrees to marry Sumit but minutes before the marriage is to be solemnised, she understands that Sumit is not happy about marrying her. One of the reasons is that Sumit doesn’t find her suitable enough. However, when Koroli realises that Sumit will not take the drastic step, she herself calls off the marriage. The two part ways.

After the called off marriage Koroli returns to England and joins her father’s business, followed by her marriage being fixed with Jai Singh Rathod (Santosh Barmola), a rich young man. In the meantime back in India, Sumit becomes an actor but manages to get work in inconsequential films. However, one such film takes him to England where Sumit, quite by chance, meets Koroli and realises that she is a new and super-confident girl now, and sparks fly between Sumit and Koroli.

What happens thereafter? Does Koroli marry Sumit or Jai? Are some of the questions that make up the rest of the film.
