Sachiin Joshi wraps up shoot with Nargis Fakhri for his upcoming film Amaavas

Renowned actor, producer and business magnate Sachiin Joshi is all set to return to the big screen this year. The actor who is known for his work in Telugu cinema and Bollywood will be seen opposite Nargis Fakhri in the upcoming thriller Amaavas.

Sachiin made his Bollywood debut in 2011 with Aazaan, post that he was seen in film Mumbai Mirror which also had Prakash Raj and Aditya Pancholi. The actor was last seen on screens in the Sunny Leone starrer Jackpot and is now all set with his next Amaavas opposite Nargis Fakhri.

Sachiin Joshi and Nargis Fakhri have wrapped up the 35 day schedule of Amaavas in London and is back to the city. Sachiin dons a broody avatar for the thriller and looks handsome as always. The actor will soon head to Europe to shoot the film’s songs along with Nargis Fakhri.

Sachiin Joshi will be seen in a thriller for the first time and it’s something his fans are eagerly looking forward to.

REVEALED: Details of Salman Khan and Iulia Vantur’s IPL shoot

Amidst link-up rumours of Salman Khan and Iulia Vantur, now a forthcoming venture is all set to get them together. While it is a known fact that Iulia has also done playback singing in Salman’s film Race 3, now the upcoming closing ceremony of Indian Premiere League aka IPL is all set to have Iulia and Salman as a part of it.

The latest season of IPL is nearing its end and preps are on for a grand closing ceremony. Just like the opening ceremony, this one too will feature performances of some Bollywood biggies. But besides that, the TV show ‘Cricket Finals Party Toh Banti Hai’ has been planned for the same. And this one too will have Bollywood celebrities coming together. While one amongst them will be Salman Khan, Iulia Vantur too will be a part of it.

Iulia Vantur is expected to shoot for the said episode of the TV show at a studio in Lower Parel on Saturday. On the same day itself, Salman Khan too is expected to shoot a segment. As for the show, it is expected to be aired on Sunday, as a part of the final lineup for the IPL this year. If reports are to be believed, the idea of roping in Iulia was given by Salman himself.

It is not an unknown fact that Salman Khan has been helping his reportedly alleged girlfriend Iulia Vantur to establish herself in the Bollywood industry. While she ventured into Hindi music with a single, she has even lent voice for the romantic number ‘Selfish’ in Race 3. The song, that released a day ago, is penned by Salman Khan himself and it features the superstar along with is co-star Jacqueline Fernandez.

On the other hand, Salman’s co-star Jacqueline Fernandez will be a part of the performance line-up for the IPL closing ceremony with actors like Katrina Kaif grooving to music. It is expected to be hosted by Ranbir Kapoor.

REVEALED: John Abraham required permission from politician Arun Jaitley to shoot these scenes for Parmanu – The Story of Pokhran

It is not an unknown fact that John Abraham has fought a major battle to ensure the smooth release of Parmanu – The Story of Pokhran. But did you know that the actor also required a series of permissions to shoot on this film which is based on real life incidents.

Parmanu – The Story of Pokhran is based on the 1998 nuclear tests in India and it was definitely challenging for John Abraham to procure all the permissions. Yet he ensured that all of those were in place. In recent reports, the actor-producer spoke about this stating that he required special permission from the then Defense Minister of India Arun Jaitley to fly drones in Pokhran [Arun Jaitley currently is the Finance Minister and Minister of Corporate Affairs Minister of India] Besides that, he also required the consent of the Border Security Force. The actor, however, was glad that all of these permissions were in place when the shooting kicked off.

Besides these, John Abraham was also happy that they could incorporate some small incidents that happened for real during the nuclear tests. In recent reports, John Abraham mentioned that he had spoken to many people who were involved during the Pokhran nuclear tests like officials of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) and the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO). He wanted to do so to maintain authenticity whilst shooting the film.

During the same, the actor elaborated on an incident where people in Rajasthan ran out of onions. It seems that the unit working in Pokhran had bought all the onions because onions absorb radiation. Furthermore, John went on to add in these media reports, that some of these intriguing incidents are an integral part of the film too.

Also starring Diana Penty, Boman Irani in integral roles, Parmanu – The Story of Pokhran is directed by Abhishek Sharma. After a long legal battle with KriArj, the film is finally scheduled to release on May 25.
